A cheese that is massively underrated and one of the favourites in our household (yes, there is many)! This particular buratta is made in Brisbane, by local italian cheese maker Casa Motta. Alessandro has made this cheese exclusively for Le Fromage Yard and we are very privledge to sell such a delicious and beautiful product. A soft, delicate exterior hides the creamy, subtle truffle centre.
Country of origin: Australia

Source of milk: Cow’s Milk
Texture: Soft, silky and gooey
Flavour: Milky, creamy, truffle
Aging time: Fresh
Serving suggestion: There is a whole instagram account dedicated to the numerous ways to enjoy this glorious cheese, but our favourite is the simple traditional way of serving with fresh tomatoes that have been sprinkled with salt and pepper, a drizzle of olive oil and the buratta on top. Make sure you don't forget the crusty bread and champagne.
Wine pairing: Pair with a champagne or a light red wine, such as a Pinot Noir.
