This cheese is also known under the name of Boule de Lille. The reason being is that the cheeses were originally matured in cellars situated in the town of Lille. The method of production of the Mimolette is the same as the Dutch cheese Edam.

    One of the best hard cheese ever - slice thinly it fits perfectly in sandwiches, you can make sticks of it for your kids - they will love it too. So tasty and getting perfectly with wine too..:)

    A long time favourite, used to purchase at a local shop that has since closed. So happy we have found it again!

    A little disappointing. Dry in comparson to similar English cheeses.
