What is pate? Pate is a finely or coarsely ground blend of meat, organ meat and herbs or seasonings. Pâté is often one element of a layered terrine, but it can be as simple as chicken liver mousse. Game meat pâtés at its best. Strong but not overpowering flavour of the Wild Boar. The balance is perfect, which is simply unique and delicious!

I was surprised at the mild taste of this. Seeing 'wild boar' I had visions of something very gamey and powerful. Instead it's pleasant, with a subtle meaty taste and texture. I spread it on some crackers and sprinkled a little salt on it. Enjoyable.
