Mostarda di frutta, or "mustard fruits", are a Northern Italian condiment made of candied fruit or vegetables poached in a mustard-flavoured syrup. They are a typical accompaniment to cheese and cured meats.

Although a traditional condiment for boiled meats, theses make a lovely pairing with ham, cold cuts and a sensational pairing with cheeses.

Great on an antipasto plate or with your favourite firm, rich cheeses and blue cheese.
