Born in the heart of 19th century Tortona, the legendary Baci di Dama are a love story between two irresistible ingredients. Originally crafted with Piedmontese hazelnuts, these delicate confections were created for the royal tables of Italy, first served to King Vittorio Emanuele II in 1852.
Each "kiss" is a harmonious blend of rich, toasted Tonda Gentile hazelnuts and pure dark chocolate, brought together in two tender shells. Grondona ensures every step of the process, from toasting the hazelnuts to preparing the dough, captures the passion and tradition behind this timeless treat.
