If you love truffle, this cheese is an absolute treat. Saint Jeanvrin à la Truffe is a beautifully soft cow’s milk cheese with a silky, creamy pâte and delicate earthy aromas from summer truffle. The truffle is subtle and elegant, enhancing the richness of the cheese without overpowering its natural milky character.

Produced by Fromagerie d’Orval in the Cher department of France’s Centre–Val de Loire region, this cheese reflects the dairy’s close relationship with local farms and the surrounding Berry countryside. The milk is collected from nearby producers, helping preserve the traditions and terroir of this historic farming region.

During maturation, the cheese is wrapped in a chestnut leaf, a traditional presentation that protects the cheese as it ages while adding a rustic touch. The result is a supple, creamy cheese with gentle earthy notes and a refined truffle aroma.

Country of origin: France
Region, town: Orval, Centre–Val de Loire
Source of milk: Cow’s milk
Texture: Soft, smooth, creamy and supple
Flavour: Creamy, earthy, aromatic with delicate truffle notes

Serving suggestion:
Serve at room temperature with warm baguette or neutral crackers to allow the truffle aromas to shine. Honey is our go to for a delicious truffle cheese, that won't overpower the flavours.

Pairing:
Pairs wonderfully with Champagne or a lightly oaked Chardonnay, both of which complement the creamy texture and earthy truffle character.
