Kaltbach Le Cremeux
Kaltbach Le Cremeux
Description
Le Crémeux KALTBACH is one of those cheeses that quietly steals the show.
Aged for around 4 months by the Cavemasters deep within the sandstone caves, this cheese is relatively young by KALTBACH standards. What makes it truly different from traditional mountain cheeses is the addition of extra Swiss cream during production. The result is something incredibly special — a cheese that combines the depth and character of cave ageing with a texture that is luxuriously soft and melt-in-the-mouth.
If you enjoy alpine-style cheeses but are looking for something a little more creamy, this is a definite winner. It’s rich without being overwhelming, smooth without losing character — and very easy to go back for more.
Country of origin: Switzerland

Serving suggestion: Le Crémeux KALTBACH is incredibly versatile. Perfect on a cheeseboard, but equally at home melted into a toastie, stirred through a risotto, or added to a gratin. Let it come to room temperature to fully enjoy its creamy texture.
Wine Pairing: This cheese pairs beautifully with Chardonnay or Chenin Blanc. For something a little different, try it with a crisp lager or even a light, slightly sweet Riesling to balance the richness.
