This decadent, cloud-like beauty is the ultimate indulgence for lovers of creamy cheese! Brillat Savarin IGP is a luxurious addition to any cheese board, but it doesn’t stop there. Spread it generously on warm baguette, elevate a simple toast, or fold it into mashed potatoes or pasta for an extra layer of richness. So many ways to enjoy, so little time!

Brillat Savarin IGP is the original triple cream and truly lives up to its reputation. Its sweet, mild and buttery paste is incredibly soft and delicate, melting effortlessly on the palate. If you adore silky, rich cheeses with a fresh milky finish, this is a definite must-try. Made by Fromagerie Rouzaire, this version is beautifully balanced — indulgent yet refined.

Country of origin: France
Region, town: Île-de-France
Source of milk: Cow's Milk
Texture: Creamy, smooth and velvety
Flavour: Buttery, milky, slightly tangy, rich
Aging time: Approximately 2–4 weeks

Serving suggestion: Brillat Savarin IGP is perfect as the centrepiece for soft cheese lovers on a board. Serve with fresh crusty bread, neutral crackers and seasonal fruits to balance its richness. It also pairs beautifully with a touch of honey or a spoon of fig jam.

Wine Pairing: This indulgent cheese pairs wonderfully with Champagne, Crémant or a crisp Chablis. For something a little different, try it with a dry cider or even a sparkling rosé. The freshness cuts through the richness beautifully.

A little history / fun fact:
Fromagerie Delin specialises in indulgent Burgundian triple creams, with Cremeux de Bourgogne often compared to Brillat-Savarin. The truffle-filled version takes this luxury one step further, becoming a favourite for celebrations and gourmet tables.

This was by far the best cheese I’ve ever tasted, the brebi flavour, the creaminess, that taste of light cheese bacteria! Ahhhh yum! Will buy again for sure!

Soft buttery cheese becoming 'oozey' with some maturity. Slightly pungent with a subtle afterburn tang makes a delightful and complex cheese. Quite delightful

Be careful, you'll never be able to enjoy supermarket brie or camembert again after trying this. The smooth texture and depth of flavor are on another level to everyday commercial cheeses.
