Chateau Les Mesclances Zarafa Sparkling Rosé
Grape variety: 80% Tibouren, 10% Grenache, 10% Rolle (vermentino).
Terroir: Ancient alluvium soil made mostly of silt, quartz fragments and Phyllite.
Winemaking: Direct pressing with pneumatic press, then careful settling. Fermentation at strictly temperature controlled.
Traditional (champagne) method with an extra brut dosage of only 2 g/L. 10 months on lees.
Tasting Notes: Beautiful pomelo pink colour. The nose opens with mineral notes, citrus fruits, particularly lemon and spices.
On the palate, there is beautiful elegance and balance of flavours.
Temperature: A rosé to taste between 7°- 9°.
Pairing: Ideal with apéritif, sushi, light fish and mediterranean type salads.
Cellaring: 3 - 5 years in bottle.
